“Go big or go home”
Passionate about freestyle skiing, Julien will share with you the beauty of the Deux Alpes skiing area. He provides ski lessons to any level of skier, from novices to veterans.
This freestyle skiing lover put on his first pair of skis at the age of 18 months and never took it off again! For 12 years, he has been the trainer of the freeski group in the Deux Alpes. Eager for freedom, he likes being able to develop on the whole mountain with a disconcerting speed and facility.
His task? Transmitting his passion for sliding while having fun. For that purpose, he adopts a playful and dynamic teaching method.
On the skiing area, his favourite playground is Bellecombe, where he loves doing back flips. For him, the Ecole du Ski Français provides a quality management and areas that are adapted to any levels.
His best memory dates back to the day he taught a group of learners, including a partially deaf person. Julien tried to exchange with him, using sign language all week long… So did the rest of the group! He keeps a wonderful memory from this week.
Even though Julien already reached several top 10 during half-pipe competitions, he never had the chance to step on the podium. However, he already had the opportunity to try ski runs in Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Andorre and even Korea. From these experiences, he retains that ‘Our mountains are pretty good’!
For him, the most beautiful pistes in the world are Bormio downhill, Luc Alphand in Serre Chevalier, and La Balme in La Clusaz. By a matter of fact, he already instructed in Serre Chevalier and this experience allowed him to discover the Mélèze Forest.
Julien never leaves the world of sports, since he is an instructor all year round. Nature-lover, he likes fly fishing, endurance racing, mountain biking and hiking.
